Nick is an Associate Remote Areas Advisor specialising in high altitude, polar, jungle and desert environments. He has a proven background in adventure risk management in hazardous operations in remote areas.

A leading International Ski and Mountain Guide (IFMGA) Nick has been guiding parties, since 1985, in mountain ranges around the world. As an experienced mountaineer and adventurer, he is a highly sought after guide and expedition coordinator.

For the past decade Nick has worked extensively in the TV and media world, providing safety support to many adventure documentary productions including, over 20 shows with Bear Grylls.

The vast experience gained by Nick over the past 30 years working extensively in hazardous workplaces worldwide means he is available to discuss any of the issues associated with Production safety and offer risk management advice.

Nick and his wife base themselves in Switzerland in the winter where they run a Backcountry ski guiding business and the rest of the year in the UK near Exeter. Nick is into most outdoor sports; skier, climber, biker and especially paragliding. A keen photographer he often shoots stills for productions.
