Pusha T's Toronto Concert Ends in Brawl
Six members of the public were injured, with one individual suffering "life-threatening stab wounds", at a Pusha T concert in Toronto, the Toronto Sun has reported.
Reports claim that several unidentified members of the crowd sprayed what was later identified by police as water, beer and paint on stage during the rapper's set, before climbing on to the stage. Video footage uploaded to Twitter by concert attendees shows members of security clashed with the assailants, with the ensuing chaos escalating into a brawl.
Constable David Hopkinson, a spokesperson for the Toronto Police Department, informed news outlets including USA Today, that a concert goer admitted himself into hospital with "serious stab wounds", at which point police investigators "were able to determine that this man received the stab wounds during the initial fight or ensuing fights that occurred at the concert."
Hopkinson went on to comment that "numerous people were injured from a fight after a group of people attacked performers."
Police have confirmed that five others were reported injured during the brawl, with three receiving medical attention from paramedics at the scene.
