01 Dec 1st Option Deliver HET Session at Imperial War Museum
1st Option Safety last week delivered an interactive hostile environment session in association with the Imperial War Museum as part of its ‘Age of Terror: Art Since 9/11′ series. The session presented a unique opportunity for delegates to experience the practicalities of preparing, planning and navigating a conflict zone with 1st Option’s world-class training instructors.
Chris Lawton, Head of High Risk at 1st Option, said of the event:
“It was an absolute pleasure to deliver the session and great to help IWM reach out to a new audience. We hope that we have made a difference over the years and it was a privilege to shine a light on this for the broader public.”
Justin Rhodes, Producer – Public Engagement and Learning at the Imperial War Museums commented:
‘It was a fantastic evening that gave great insight into what goes into reporting from a conflict. The team from 1st Option gave us an experience that was at times moving and at other times funny but always fascinating.
